The Shard Collector

Want to know how many stories a shard of glass can hold? The bluestone paths in the old alley have the answer!

Back when Su Wan snatched Lu Chenyuan's sweet soup, she never imagined the boy would hide the broken glass he found away as a secret. When Lu Chenyuan crouched beneath the pagoda tree, piecing together a star, he never guessed his craft would be passed down through five generations. And who could have guessed that Shen Xingci, who always hid behind the tree to hand her candy wrappers, would one day have a concert backdrop showing three little kids sprawled on the ground, clumsily piecing glass together?

From the awkward heartaches of youth, to the everyday comforts of life in the glass pavilion, and then to the grandchildren turning shards into viral mystery boxes, moments shattered by time were somehow glued together by love, piece by piece, into a river of stars.

The wind still blows through the old alley, and the pagoda blossoms still fall. That ever-glowing glass lamp says, “Don't be afraid of shards scattered everywhere. Someone will always crouch down and help you piece together an entire spring.”
