From the Start, I Have a Planet-Buster Cannon: I Rule the Wasteland for 30,000 Years

When the weapon that could destroy the world falls into the hands of the only person who wants to save it

Thirty thousand years in the future, civilization has become legend.

Lu Chen awakens from a cryogenic pod to find himself in an apocalyptic world where savagery and steel wreckage coexist. Humanity struggles against radiation, technology has regressed to the age of steam, and embedded in his right hand is the core of a forbidden weapon capable of tearing a planet apart: a planet-buster cannon.

"Warning: Civilization regression detected: 99.7%." The AI's cold voice echoes in his mind. "Recommend executing the purge protocol."

But Lu Chen refuses to become a destroyer.

He blasts open the raiders' fortress with the planet-buster cannon and uses an antimatter generator to light the wasteland's first lamp. While others shoot at each other with bows, Tesla lightning towers already crown his walls. While tribes fight over rotten meat, his factories are mass-producing combat mechs.

Until he discovers that

this wasteland is an experiment conducted by an advanced civilization, reset once every thirty thousand years. And his planet-buster cannon is the "civilization eraser" from the previous cycle.
