I was reborn as a dying stray dog in a junkyard, with pus and blood still oozing from my hind legs.
System awakened: Devour and evolve. Eat anything, become anything!
After devouring a poisonous centipede for the first time, I unexpectedly breathed strange flames.
Xu Jing, a rich young woman, crouched in the rain and gently stroked my filthy head. “Would you like to come home with me?”
As I hesitated, she softly told me about how a dog had protected her when she was a child.
That night, I crushed the skull of a giant mutated rat, but hid my bloodstained claws from her.
Animal roars echoed through the dark corners of the city, while I secretly guarded her way home.
The “Genesis Gene” in her father’s laboratory suddenly leaked.
Animals across the entire city began mutating like mad, and I was quietly growing dragon scales.
