The Service Club? No, It’s My Battlefield of Love!

Yoshiteru Zaimokuza's youth is stale curry rotting in a corner.

Greasy, pungent, and ignored by everyone.

Then, just as he is being mercilessly slaughtered by a BOSS and slams his desk in rage, a cold, mechanical voice rings out:

[Ding! Intense good-for-nothing resentment and twisted youthful energy detected!]

[“Romantic Comedy Optimization System” binding by force...]

[Newbie quest: Thoroughly clean your personal hygiene within 24 hours, including bathing, washing your hair, brushing your teeth, and changing into clean clothes.]

[Reward: Charm +0.5. Failure penalty: forced experience of socially mortifying scalp itchiness (lasting 24 hours).]

Zaimokuza: “...Huh?!”

When he walks into the Service Club with wet hair that is, at least, no longer greasy...

For the first time, Yukino Yukinoshita furrows her brow at him, not out of disgust, but confusion. “That walking source of pollution... smells less intense?”

For the first time, Yui Yuigahama's polite smile carries a hint of genuine surprise. “Oh, Zaimokuza... you look a little fresher?”

For the first time, Hachiman Hikigaya's dead-fish eyes stay focused on him for more than three seconds. “You washed your hair? Is the world about to end?”

Zaimokuza looks at the [Confusion], [Surprise], and [Shock] bubbles floating above their heads, close to tears.

His youthful romantic comedy seems to be charging off in a direction that's absolutely, unquestionably wrong!
