Construction Maniac: A Reservoir from the Start

Chen Mo, a modern project chief engineer, dies in a construction-site accident and transmigrates into the Great Yu Dynasty, where he becomes a failed examinee with no strength to even truss a chicken.

Faced with impoverished villages, devastating floods, and backward technology… he smiles.

“I know how to handle this job!”

Starting with a small reservoir dam, he uses engineering knowledge a thousand years ahead of its time to transform this ancient empire.

Make cement, build highways, construct bridges, dig canals, reinforce the Great Wall…

When enemies reach the city gates, they find themselves facing a fortress of reinforced concrete, an upgraded version of rammed earth.

When the emperor looks around, he realizes that the very foundations of the dynasty bear this man’s mark.

Years later, Chen Mo, honored as the “Duke of the Nation’s Master Craftsmen,” declares: “I’m no immortal. I’m just an ordinary infrastructure fanatic.”
