Nuo God Decree: Awakening of a Thousand Nuo

While leading the once-in-a-century Nuo-Guarding Ritual in the forbidden grounds of his clan, Li He, young chieftain of the Wu Clan, accidentally triggers the blood-contract curse seal on an ancestral Nuo mask. This unexpectedly awakens Shen Nuo, the Nuo God who has slept for a thousand years. Once a deity who used Nuo dances to bring peace to the land and protect the Wu Clan for a millennium, he awakens to find the incense offerings extinguished and Nuo opera fallen into dust. The clan's young people dismiss it as an outdated old tradition, the ancestral Nuo dance manuals are incomplete, and even the most basic steps of the Mountain-Opening Nuo Dance survive only in fragments.
