Even forensic pathologists, celebrities, and foreign explorer groups come from far and wide to be “tormented.”

But as the haunted house’s fame soars, even more fearsome ghosts arrive one after another: Lady Mang, who commands blood vines; the seamstress who weaves wedding gowns from human skin; and the chef butcher who treats diners as “ingredients”…

From near bankruptcy to one of the top three haunted houses in the world, Chen Mo’s attraction doesn’t just scare visitors to tears. It also holds the lingering regrets and stories of countless ghosts. Gradually, he discovers that behind every ghost that makes people scream is a life that was never treated with kindness.
