I Solve Cold Cases with the Memories of a Republican-Era Detective

Lin Shen, the great-grandson of Lin Qiubai, a renowned detective from the Republican era, inherits an old notebook left behind by his grandfather and gains his great-grandfather’s complete memories and deductive abilities. As a private investigator, he uses his “memory rewind” skill to solve seemingly impossible cases, including locked-room murders, serial killings, and perfect alibis. Working alongside war correspondent Su Wan, he gradually discovers that every case points to a transnational criminal organization known as the “Dark Web Arbitrators.” Along the way, Lin Shen pieces together the unsolved “Qipao Killer” case from the Republican era using fragments of his great-grandfather’s memories, uncovers the organization’s historical roots, and ultimately brings it down, fulfilling his family legacy and finding redemption.
