Fifteen years ago, the famous Frostflower Sword Sect was wiped out overnight by a mysterious force. The sect leader and his wife, Ning Yuanshan and Su Yingxue, were brutally killed, and only their young daughter, Ning Shuanghua, was rescued by a loyal servant.
Ning Shuanghua was adopted by the nun known as Master Cold Plum. She spent fifteen years practicing martial arts at Qinglian Nunnery, mastering the peerless sword technique "Sixteen Forms of Frostfall" while secretly investigating the truth behind her family's massacre.
As an adult, Ning Shuanghua returned to the martial world under the name "Frost Sword" and crossed paths with the young hero Xiao Yunlan. They started off as enemies, but gradually fell for each other while pursuing the clues.
As the investigation deepened, Ning Shuanghua discovered a vast conspiracy behind the massacre, involving powerful court officials colluding with scoundrels of the martial world. Xiao Yunlan's background was also deeply intertwined with this feud.
Ning Shuanghua ultimately uncovered the truth and killed the enemies who had taken part in the massacre, avenging her parents and exposing an even greater conspiracy in the martial world.
