The Grave Robbers' Chronicles: The Protagonist's Lucky Little Friend

Ke Yu had left home to wander the world when she caught the scent of the mythical beast Qilin by a river.

But her grandfather had told her that the few mythical beasts still left in the world had gone into hiding centuries ago. The Qilin in particular had disappeared hundreds of years earlier. So how could she smell one now?

Her curiosity got the better of her, and she carefully leapt out of the water. From there, she had a clear view of the bank: a pile of trees and two two-legged creatures, but no sign of the mythical Qilin.

Ke Yu sniffed carefully, then fixed her gaze on the two-legged creature in the blue hoodie. The scent of a Qilin! A Qilin in human form! He was as clever as Ke Yu. She absolutely had to meet him!

On the bank, the two masters watched the golden, glowing koi leap from the river. Hei Xiazi nudged Zhang Qiling beside him. “Mute, it’s gold. I suddenly feel like our house is a little empty. Let’s get a pet!”

Zhang Qiling looked at the koi, then at Hei Xiazi, who looked as if he’d just struck it rich. He decided to look up and ignore him.
