[Comedic System, aloof saintess, subverting tropes, Divine Throne fanfic]
[Extensive original worldbuilding; I'll try to follow the Divine Throne anime as closely as possible]
“On my first day after transmigrating, the System made me flirt with the aloof saintess in public. Now she's coming after me with a sword!”
Lin Ye transmigrates into the world of Divine Throne by accident and gets bound to an unreliable, ridiculous System.
Its missions get more outrageous by the day:
[Confess to the Holy Maiden of Light, Yun Qingshuang, in public] (Reward: God-tier skill. Punishment: Turn into a frog for three days.)
[Win the Demon Hunt Squad finals while standing on your head] (Bonus effect: The audience laughs until they can't breathe.)
[Make the Demon God Emperor meow like a cat] (Failure penalty: Parade through the streets in women's clothes.)
Yun Qingshuang, the most noble saintess of the Holy Temple, was born with a divine body. Cold as ice, she keeps everyone at a distance.
But because of a System bug, she is forced to become bound to this “lunatic.”
He says sweet things, and she draws her sword!
He gets himself into trouble, and she cleans up after him!
He flirts with her and runs off, and she chases him for three thousand miles!
“Lin Ye! If you take another one of the System's stupid missions, I'll cut you down first, then destroy this lousy System!”
However, when the mystery of Yun Qingshuang's origins is unraveled and the conspiracy behind the System comes to light...
Lin Ye finally realizes that the real troublemaker isn't the System, but fate itself.
“This time, let me protect you.”
