[Male lead is the pursued one, sweet romance]
Su Chi is a timid, socially anxious young man. To overcome his shyness, he forces himself to start streaming games and practice being more outgoing. Unfortunately, he’s a total gaming disaster: in battle royale games, he gets eliminated as soon as he lands, and in Honor of Kings, people mock him for playing like a bot.
At first, the comments in his livestream are nothing but merciless taunts: “You’re this bad and you still have the nerve to stream? A chicken would play better if you scattered rice on the keyboard!”
But Su Chi responds in a way no one expects. Because of his personality, he’s as earnest as can be, apologizing sincerely and thanking everyone in his soft, sweet voice.
That adorable contrast instantly disarms the haters. Viewers cry, “I’m such a terrible person!” and transform into his adoring mom-and-dad fans, turning the stream into a massive online parenting and gaming tutorial.
With his parental fans guiding him every step of the way, Su Chi’s hilariously awful gameplay slowly starts to improve.
During one livestream, egged on by his fans, he gathers all his courage and turns on his mic to flirt with a random player: “Hey, handsome, want to date online?” Then comes the most mortifying moment of his life.
The player turns out to be JY, the esports streamer Su Chi has admired for ages. And what sends Su Chi over the edge is discovering on the first day of school that the cool, handsome senior everyone adores at the welcome desk is the very idol he flirted with!
Jiang Yu appears to abide by his rule against getting involved with fans, but in truth he’s sharp and calculating. Once he discovers that Su Chi is both an adorably hopeless little streamer and his fan, his interest grows. Before he knows it, he’s fallen for him too.
One day, Su Chi looks at Jiang Yu as he nibbles on his face and asks, “S-Senior! Didn’t you say you wouldn’t get involved with your fans?”
Jiang Yu chuckles and brushes his fingertips over Su Chi’s flushed cheek. “Mm. Rules are made to be broken, but you’re the exception.”
It's very sweet, there are no ups and downs, it's just sweet. The only thing that doesn't suit my taste is that this book is not a strong one. It is particularly weak in terms of acceptance. It is as beautiful as a flower, but fortunately it is coquettish and not too pretentious. It is simply a case of social fear.
So sweet, so sweet, I hope the two babies will be happy forever (*^▽^*)
