My Brother Was Trapped Ten Thousand Meters Underwater, but I Calmly Went to Sleep

I’m a top engineer at the National Deep-Sea Technology Center, and the only person in the world with experience in deep-sea rescue.

When my younger brother’s submarine had an accident and left him trapped ten thousand meters beneath the sea, I hung up on his call for help.

Then I calmly went to the police station and turned myself in, claiming I’d leaked classified research.

A few minutes later, my father called in a fury. “Your brother’s life is hanging in the balance. Where the hell are you?”

“I order you to get to the scene and save him right now, or you won’t get a single cent of the Shen family fortune!”

I pulled the covers over myself and calmly replied, “I’m busy. Stop disturbing my sleep.”
