His Starry-Eyed Sweetheart

At the opening ceremony, she catches a glimpse of him and launches a spinning kick to save him, kicking her way straight into his heart.

Jiang Zhouqing is a taekwondo black-belt firecracker. On her first day of school, she kicks away a wayward soccer ball to save a beauty, hitting the cool astronomy club president Shen Xingyao right in the heart. From then on, she becomes the brightest presence in his cold star chart.

He is Shen Xingyao, the aloof academic ace of Wutong High, president of the astronomy club, with eyes as cool and distant as if veiled in mist. At the podium, he is a meticulous interpreter of the stars. But when she asks, “President Shen, did you just think I was cool?” he instantly turns into a “steam locomotive,” his ears red as blood, his silence deafening.

She is like an asteroid careening into his meticulously ordered universe.

When the sunny taekwondo girl collides with the icy astronomy club president

She is his Rigel, the brightest star in Orion, lighting up his silent night sky.

He is her gravitational field, guiding her across the sea of academics with rigorous logic and clumsy tenderness, as they shine side by side.

From “hero saves beauty” to “mutual devotion,” from secret heartbeats at the observatory to studying side by side for the class placement exam.

See how Jiang Zhouqing kicks open Shen Xingyao’s heart and makes the icy club president’s ears blush for her in every season.

This encounter, which began beneath Orion, will measure the rhythm of their heartbeats in light-years.
