From Jilted Heiress to Demon-Devouring Empress: I’m on a Rampage

Chen Shiyu was born the legitimate daughter of a prominent family, but their fortunes declined, and her parents were secretly tortured to death by her fiancé and his mistress. Transported to a desolate wilderness, she meets Li Xingyun. After returning to her fiancé’s Su family, she unexpectedly awakens the "True Scripture of Devouring Darkness". She slays demonic beasts and devours demonic energy, advancing by leaps and bounds. When she encounters her hypocritical fiancé again, she declares, “I, Chen Shiyu, refuse to honor this engagement!” With one stroke of her sword, she severs the oath sworn to the heavens...

The world calls her a mad demon, and she laughs at the world’s ignorance. “I cultivate the art of devouring demons. I kill those who deserve to die, and protect what I choose to protect. What have I done wrong?”

When she leads the Demon-Breaking Army to conquer the imperial capital, a wolf’s head formed from black battle energy blotting out the sky, the world finally learns the truth:

The abandoned orphan has already become the Demon-Devouring Empress, a figure whose name strikes terror into the demon race!

“Anyone who stands in my way, human or demon, will be shown no mercy!”
