A Fresh Translation and Guide to the Waitai Miyao

Wai Tai Mi Yao is a monumental medical compendium compiled by Wang Tao during the Tang dynasty from secret imperial archives and the prescriptions of various schools. Building on the legacy of Qian Jin Fang, it extensively collected and systematically recorded proven prescriptions from all medical specialties, as well as acupuncture, moxibustion, and breathing exercises practiced before the Tang dynasty.
