Horror Revival: I’m a Maoshan Celestial Master

In 2035, the “blood moon” appeared in many places around the world, and yin energy that had lain dormant for a thousand years began to spread. At midnight, the neon lights in cities would turn an eerie dark green. Bluish-gray mist rose from ancient burial mounds in the suburbs. More and more videos that defied scientific explanation spread online. Someone filmed a “hair-combing woman” with fingernails as long as blades combing her hair in an office elevator. During a livestream, someone was dragged away and vanished by a ghastly pale arm that suddenly reached out of a mirror. The spiritual qi revival did not unfold gradually. It crashed into modern society like a bursting dam. The first officially confirmed supernatural incident took place in Lujiazui, Shanghai. In the middle of the night, a bronze coffin from a Ming-dynasty tomb, unearthed and displayed in a museum, opened by itself. A zombie wreathed in green flames leapt out of its display case and gnawed three security guards down to their bones. The news was hastily suppressed the next day, but rumors of a “haunted museum” were already spreading like wildfire on the dark web.
