One of the Five Great God Kings of the Douluo God Realm, the Asura God must endure forty-nine trials in pursuit of the ultimate Great Dao.

After ten thousand years, only the final trial remained: the trial of love. Yet he hit a bottleneck and could never find it.

The Asura God decided to be reborn in Douluo Dalu and seek out the elusive trial of love.

Reborn as the chief disciple of the Spirit Hall Pope, the Asura fell deeply in love with Qian Renxue. He died for her in the battle at Jiayu Pass, finally discovering the meaning of love.

Upon returning to his divine station, the Asura God was devoid of all feeling. He destroyed the Sea God and the Rakshasa God, and cut down the Angel God's divine status.
