Wukong went to the West to learn scriptures and was awarded the title of "Fighting and Victorious Buddha", but he was told by the monkeys in the Huaguo Mountain that they were all pawns in the chess game of the West. When Wukong was still immersed in nothingness, a new demon Ni Qiong appeared who wanted to break the existing order, subvert the Lingshan Mountain, and reshape free will, but he was labeled an "evil demon". During the fight between Wukong and Ni Qiong, he gradually realized that the so-called "fighting to defeat the Buddha" is never about surrender, but about transcendence. This further inspires Wukong's spirit of resistance to "break the cause and effect", and his argument with the demon Ni Qiong highlights Wukong's self-awakening image as a true "rule subverter".
