"Lotus Peak Waits for the Moon" starts ten years after the Battle of the East China Sea and revolves around the reunion of Li Lianhua and Di Feisheng - former rivals in the peak duel, who once again intersected due to the pursuit of Shan Gu Dao Pu. A rusty iron lotus seed and half a lotus jade pendant lead to an old case thirty years ago: the bodyguard died of the ghost doctor's unique poison "pulling machine". The old handkerchief embroidered with lotus pods hides clues. The jade flute in the peach blossom forest is engraved with the word "waiting for the moon". The lotus heart grass that can detoxify the poison is not only related to human life, but also hides the secret of reconnecting broken veins.
During the pursuit, the shadow of the remnants of the Golden Yuan Alliance, Su Mei's obsession, and the bloody truth about Dan Gudao's "betrayal" gradually emerged. Li Lianhua walked with a bamboo stick, hiding Li Xiangyi's past, but under the silent protection of Di Feisheng, he revealed the aura of the rivers and lakes that had not yet cooled down; Di Feisheng put away the coldness of the black iron sword, and used the agreement of "who can live in Lianhua Tower longer" to turn the "showdown" ten years ago into a side-by-side defense.
From the bloodstains in the Cangzhou Inn to the knife marks on the snow-lined stone walls, from the fights in the ruined temple to the fragrance of tea in the peach blossom forest, the grievances in the world gradually fade away with the medicinal fragrance of lotus root and the sweetness of lotus seed cake. At the beginning of spring, new grass grows on the eaves of the Lotus Building, Li Lotus peels the lotus seeds, the flute plays and picks up the four-season mold, and the pottery pot on the stove clatters - the once shining swords and shadows have finally turned into fireworks under the eaves, sweet fragrance on the table, and the long years of "the lotus peak is waiting for the moon, and the moon is beside you".

The writing style is okay, but it is completely divorced from the book and the play, and it feels like it borrowed the name! The timeline is a bit weird too. Thirty years ago? How old are A Fei and Lian Hua, and Di Hua is in her forties or fifties?
It looks good, but I don't see the emotional line [eating melon]
