The Golden Age of the Tang Dynasty: The Princess Consort Who Guards the Nation

A young man from the twenty-first century transmigrates to the ninth year of the Wude era, at the beginning of the Tang dynasty, and becomes the posthumous son of Luo Cheng, Duke of Yue.

At the command of his grandfather, Luo Yi, Prince of Yan, the young Luo Tong travels to Chang’an with a marriage contract. Along the way, he arrives just as Jieli Khan of the Eastern Turks leads 200,000 troops toward the Wei River bridge outside the Tang capital.

Riding a white tiger and wielding twin spears, Luo Tong leads the Eighteen Riders of Yanyun into the 200,000-strong army and captures Jieli Khan alive, saving Chang’an from peril.

From then on, Luo Tong begins a legendary life: marrying a princess, becoming a duke, promoting industry and commerce, battling the great clans, expanding the borders, and bringing peace and stability to the realm.
