The eight sufferings taught include: the suffering of birth, the suffering of old age, the suffering of illness, the suffering of death, the suffering of resentment and hatred, the suffering of separation from love, the suffering of not being able to seek what you want, and the suffering of the five yin beings burning1. The five yin among the five yin blazing sufferings refer to the five senses and perceptions of human beings1. The five yins gather together to form the body, burning like fire, from which all the first seven sufferings arise.
