Qin Liangyu, Female General of the Ming Dynasty

Qin Liangyu was a famous female general in the late Ming Dynasty. She was born in a scholarly family and studied military arts and martial arts since she was a child. As an adult, she and her husband Ma Qiancheng served for the imperial court and participated in pacifying the Yang Yinglong rebellion in Bozhou, showing outstanding military talents. After her husband died, she took over his duties and continued the war.
