The heroine, Bai Luoting, was once the senior disciple of the Canglan Sect on the Azure Continent. She could refine pills, draw talismans, and tell fortunes, but when she was ascending to the Upper Realm, heavenly lightning struck her and scattered her soul. Her spirit transmigrated through time and space to the 1990s, possessing a girl with the same name who had died after being hit by a car while saving someone else. The hero, Lu Chenzhou, is the director of the Paranormal Affairs Bureau, responsible for handling all supernatural incidents. Through a series of chance encounters, the two meet, come to understand one another, and fall in love.
