Dual male leads
Gu Linchi is gay. He knew it from the first time he dreamed of a man after puberty. He has lived thirty-three years without ever dating anyone, owing to his fastidiousness about relationships. That is, until he meets Song Qinglin. He doesn't care that Song is five years older, has been married, once loved someone else, or used to be straight. Whenever Gu is with Song, all his quirks miraculously disappear.
After pursuing Song relentlessly, Gu finally wins him over in less than a year. Life is blissful every day, except for his parents. When they learn he's gay, they parade their illegitimate sons, each twenty years younger than him, in front of him and fight bitterly over the inheritance of Gu's company.
They never seem to understand that he has no intention of giving them his money or company, let alone leaving either to their illegitimate sons.
Then one day, he brings home his poor little stepdaughter from the police station. Well, what better time than now? Before she even steps through the door, she has already spoiled the plans of those two bastards. Just like his daughter to do that. It's just a shame the girl has such poor judgment and so little experience. Poor thing, what a hard life she's had.
