The Saint's Pact: Transmigrating to Douluo Dalu

Lin Yue, a new menial student at Shrek Academy, unexpectedly takes in a Shadowmoon Fox bearing a mysterious collar on the eve of his Martial Soul Awakening. He also receives a “Holy Spirit Stone” engraved with golden patterns from a mysterious inspector. The patterns on the stone match those on the half of a jade pendant he has worn since childhood. Even more astonishingly, the fox’s collar bears the same symbol. At the awakening ceremony, Lin Yue’s Martial Soul is neither an ordinary Tool Martial Soul nor a Beast Martial Soul, but a “Book of Contracts” that resonates with the Holy Spirit Stone. The little beast’s true identity turns out to be that of a descendant of the Soul Beasts who guarded Shrek’s secret realm a century ago, and the runes on its collar are the key to opening the realm.

As Lin Yue grows at Shrek Academy, he must not only face plots from every faction and unravel the secrets of his bloodline and the Holy Spirit Stone, but also protect the Shadowmoon Fox and the companions caught up in the conspiracy amid Spirit Hall’s pursuit and power struggles within the academy. From scrambling to survive in a hollow in the back mountain to shining at the Soul Master Tournament, the Book of Contracts in his hands gradually awakens greater power. Each summoning also unveils more of the hidden legends of Douluo Dalu.

When the other half of the Holy Spirit Stone appears and the Shadowmoon Fox’s seal is lifted, Lin Yue finally understands: a contract has never been
