The Frost Jade Bed and Lotus Tower

Li Xiangyi is drinking and admiring the moon atop the Lotus Tower when the night sky suddenly splits open and an entire ancient tomb crashes down.

> Through the swirling icy mist steps a girl in white, gliding without touching the ground like a ghost beneath the moon.

> “You’re paying for my bed.” She points at the shattered cold jade bed, her gaze colder than ice.

> For the first time, Li Xiangyi, the greatest man in the martial world, finds himself held at swordpoint by someone demanding repayment.

> As he repairs the roof, a swarm of jade bees drives away his enemies;

> as he uses his energy to heal, the cold jade bed cools him on its own.

> “Why are you helping me?” he can’t help asking.

> The girl lowers her eyes and strokes the buzzing jade bees:

> “The sound of your heartbeat... is very lovely.”

Doesn’t follow the original plot, completely alternate take. (For instance, the Lotus Tower is Li Xiangyi’s residence, the martial arts styles are reimagined, and Di Feisheng, Fang Duobing, and others don’t appear. See the novel for details.)
