Journey to the West + Invincible Protagonist + No Female Lead
In the thirteenth year of the Zhenguan era, Xuanzang was ordered to travel west and spread Buddhist teachings eastward.
The gods and Buddhas in the heavens thought this was simply another routine game of "tribulations."
But they had overlooked one person: the Great Tang's famed general, Li Xuan!
He arrived bearing the might of an Immortal Martial Dynasty!
Behind him marched the "Celestial Strategy Immortal Army," its soldiers' qi and blood surging like dragons, clad in rune-inscribed heavy armor and wielding spirit-powered crossbows!
At their feet flowed an iron tide that carved roads through mountains and built bridges over rivers!
Their goal? Escorting the holy monk? That was just a side trip!
"Proclaim our nation's might, open trade routes, purge the demons, and expand our borders! When we meet a mountain, we carve a way through! When we meet a river, we build a bridge! When we meet a demon, we subdue it! When we meet a nation, if it refuses to submit, we conquer it!"
The journey west? No! This was the Great Tang Immortal Dynasty's western campaign!
The Fox Spirit with the Jade Face? She was still singing and dancing in the imperial palace!
The half-bodied Guanyin? Hurry up and send her to His Majesty!
The battle of wits at Chechi? The Immortal Martial heavy cavalry crushed the demon priests, and the royal banner changed hands!
The Lion Camel Demon Kingdom? An entire nation of demons? Then wipe out the entire nation! Use a million demon corpses to build the Demon-Quelling Protectorate!
The immortals and Buddhas were furious, Heaven condemned them, and Vulture Peak resorted to covert schemes?
Li Xuan sneered, pointing the Human Emperor's Sword straight at the sky. "This is humanity's territory. Immortals and Buddhas are forbidden to enter! The script you wrote? My Great Tang does not recognize it!"
When the pilgrimage reached the foot of Vulture Peak, the ones waiting to welcome the scriptures were not a gathering of devout monks, but the Great Tang's iron cavalry, lined up like a forest, their murderous aura soaring into the sky!
Xuanzang held the scriptures, bewildered. "How did the journey for scriptures turn into a campaign to destroy nations?"
Sun Wukong grinned with excitement. "This escort is even more thrilling than my havoc in Heaven back then!"
The Buddha's face darkened. "How did this Golden Cicada bring back an army capable of destroying the world?"
Watch Li Xuan command the Great Tang's Immortal Cavalry and crush the tribulations of Journey to the West
