"When I Was the Most Beautiful" is the first collection of simplified poetry by Noriko Ibaraki, the most representative female poet in modern Japanese poetry and known as "the eldest daughter of modern Japanese poetry". It includes representative works from different creative periods and shows the different aspects of the poet's heart.
The representative works are "Don't Rely on" and "When I Was the Most Beautiful", or set a best-selling record in Japan for poetry collections, or were adapted into ballads, all of which were hotly discussed at the time. Tanigawa Shuntaro believed that the sublimation of his poetic realm was "The Years" published after his death. There were many affectionate poems written to his husband, which was a more vivid masterpiece of the perfect integration of the big and small. The above works are all compiled and included in this book by Shuntaro Tanigawa himself.
