This book is divided into three stories, one about Lawyer Xu and Jiang Xuci, one about Zhou Wanqiao and Li Yanheng, and one about Dai He. I didn't originally plan to write a sequel to Dai He, but I ended up writing it later. Life is not easy to begin with, and it is not a bad idea to give everyone a good ending. Although Daiga was violent, he was not easy to do in those three years. He worked hard in those three years and finally got the punishment he deserved. He also has the right to live happily.
Ten years ago, Xu Nanjia was forced by her family to live up to her agreement with Jiang Xuci, burying her young feelings deep in her heart.
Ten years later, she rushed to his city with her obsession and re-entered his world as a lawyer. They met awkwardly outside the court, and he regarded her as a stranger, feeling chilled to the bone.
But Xu Nanjia is never one to back down. She wants to make up for the regrets of the past with her own hands; she wants to confess her unspoken feelings one by one. Faced with his coldness and alienation, she worked step by step, trying to warm up this frozen relationship with the determination that had not changed in ten years.
Later, in the old winery, beside the rusty wine barrels, Daihe asked, "Nanjia," his voice was shaking like paper crumpled by the wind, "Do you regret it?"
"What do you regret?" Xu Nanjia asked, rubbing her fingertips back and forth on the strap of the bag.
Daihe's Adam's apple rolled: "I regret saving me."
