This apocalyptic novel is so different! There are no awesome cheats, it's just a mother fighting zombies for her children, finding medicine, and hiding from danger. Every step is very real. Seeing the protagonist holding his child and struggling in the ruins, feeling scared and wanting to protect the child, I felt crazy empathy. It felt like I was experiencing the apocalypse. I recommend it to anyone who wants to find a sense of reality!

I like the realism of this book, and there is no forced "becoming stronger" routine. The protagonist Lin Wan was scared at first, and his legs would weaken when he saw zombies, but for the sake of his daughter Doubao, he forced himself to pick up the fire axe. The process of rushing out of the office building and grabbing a car to go to the kindergarten was nerve-wracking to watch.
