Serpent Sacrifice: From the Start, I Had My Intestines Pulled Out to Rebuild Nuwa

An artificial fire is tantamount to deicide: fire is a symbol of divine authority. When mortals seize that symbol of the gods, old and new ideas collide, the struggle between divine, royal, and human rights intensifies, and the Nuwa Project makes its debut.

I am Nuwa, a god.

It hurt so much. Those people worked quickly, breaking my legs and pulling out my intestines, forcing me into the shape of a human with a serpent's body. They said that was what made me a god. A god? The pain pierced me to the core. I could only feel that I had been made a god unjustly. I was just… a person.

So be it. At least their “creation of humanity” plan had, in a way, succeeded.
