My Childhood Friend Turns Out to Be My Betrothed

Childhood-Raising × Two Female Leads × Age Gap × Discipline

[Set in a fictional world. Entirely fictional and unrelated to reality.]

Gu Yanyu’s parents believed the first child should be raised strictly, and that hardship was necessary for success. So they sent young Gu Yanyu from City A to live in City B. Her godparents worried that without proper guidance, she might go astray, so they bought a house in City B and stayed with her. But the two of them were also extremely busy overseas. While Gu Yanyu was out playing, she struck up a friendship with her neighbor Ji Yuyan, who was eight years older. Ji Yuyan often helped Gu Yanyu with her homework and studies, treating her like a little sister.

A few years later, when they met again, their circumstances had changed, but their feelings remained.

However, during the four or five years Ji Yuyan was away, Gu Yanyu had picked up some bad habits. Ji Yuyan was just waiting for her to bring it up herself so she could help her break them.
