[Daily Intel + War and Famine + Feel-Good Read + Alternate History + Rebellion + Forced to Become Emperor]
Transmigrating to an era of famine and war is bad enough. Just surviving would be a blessing.
Fortunately, Li Jishan has an Intel System that can provide him with any information!
[Level One Intel: A dying locust tree grows halfway up the mountain behind the village. A 20-year-old wild ginseng plant is growing around its trunk.]
[Level Two Intel: Tomorrow, a red-faced man selling dates will pass by the city gate. His martial prowess is astonishing.]
Li Jishan: Since we hit it off at first sight, how about we become sworn brothers?
[Level Three Intel: Fifty miles east of here, beneath a ruined temple, lies the tomb of a prince from the previous dynasty. It contains ten thousand taels of gold.]
Li Jishan: Brothers, the Supreme Lord appeared to me in a dream last night...
[Level Five Intel: A military mutiny will break out in two years, leading to the rise of rival warlords. The world will descend into chaos!]
Whenever the outlaws of the greenwood meet Li Jishan, they fall to their knees and pledge themselves to him as their big brother!
Li Jishan: Heaven is dead; the Yellow Heaven shall rise...
With this intel, Li Jishan thrives through famine and war.
Finally, at the bridge by the post station, as his brothers forcibly drape an imperial robe over his shoulders...
Li Jishan wails, “Brothers, I don’t want to be emperor!”
I have read more than 20 chapters, and overall it is pretty good and enjoyable, with a bit of a Water Margin feel. Looking forward to the rebellion later on, the character development is okay. Let's see how it goes later. If the plot of the rebellion is well written, I'll give it a five-star rating. Not bad, I give you 5 stars and look forward to the follow-up 😄😄
