Ordinary high school student Lu Chen is betrayed and killed by a goddess and a rich second-generation heir in an SSS-rank instance, then unexpectedly awakens the hidden class “God Eater” and is reborn three years in the past. On Awakening Day, he appears to acquire the B-rank class Time Traveler, but in truth becomes the only person in the world with two classes, wielding the combined powers of time manipulation and devouring evolution. Armed with memories from his previous life and a mysterious System, Lu Chen starts his rise to power in a small backwater city, crushing his enemies' schemes, gathering brothers who would live and die by his side, and uncovering the truth about the civilization behind the trial system. When prodigies from foreign nations covet China's resources and the shadow of an alien civilization looms over the top of the World Tower, only ever-evolving class holders can protect humanity's last flame.
