Synopsis of From Slaying Demons Onward: Phoenix Dances Across the Heavens:
In the modern world, Ye Ningxuan was an ordinary office worker who died suddenly from overwork. But her story did not end there. When she awoke again, she discovered that she had transmigrated to a world overrun by demons and monsters, and become a lone girl named A Qing who was about to be sacrificed to a bear demon. Unwilling to accept the fate awaiting her, Ye Ningxuan refused to give in.
Fortunately, she activated a mysterious entity called the Life-for-Cultivation System. It could help her improve her cultivation and obtain skills and items by consuming her lifespan, but it also came with tremendous risks: every increase in strength came at the cost of a shorter life. In this new world fraught with danger, Ye Ningxuan had to carefully balance survival with revenge while seeking ways to grow stronger.
Centered on Ye Ningxuan, the story follows how she uses her limited resources to gradually grow in a cruel otherworld. She must also face the villagers who once betrayed and tried to harm her, as well as the powerful demons and monsters threatening humanity’s survival. Along the way, she will endure countless trials and battles, gradually set out on the path to becoming powerful, and ultimately find redemption and revenge, unveiling her own legendary tale: Phoenix Dances Across the Heavens. This is not only a story of cultivation and revenge, but also a journey of self-discovery and pushing beyond one’s limits.
I watched it based on word of mouth, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The rhythm is just right, neither dragging nor rushing. Every choice made by the protagonist makes people sympathize with each other. The supporting characters also have their highlight moments. The whole process is very immersive. At the end, I still feel that it is still unfinished. I must give it full stars!
There is no choice in the content. You can detect the ingenuity in the clouds, and get down to the roots of life. Whether it is talking about big principles or small things, it all reveals your true temperament. As I read it, sometimes it made people slap their thighs and cheered, and sometimes it made my heart feel warm.
It attracted me very much from the introduction. It is rare to see such a high-quality new book. I will keep reading it! Come on, author
