The plot is particularly exciting and it is very enjoyable to read!
These stories are not like old-fashioned moral preaching, but boldly describe the real desires of ordinary people, such as how businessmen make money, how men and women can fall in love freely, and there are even stories of women bravely pursuing happiness. The characters in the book are vivid, including a poor boy with great luck, a smart and witty boss lady, and a confused official who is greedy and deceived. Reading it is like reading the Ming Dynasty version of "Social News".
