Echoes from the Abyss Beneath the Underground Garage

Synopsis: The Underground Parking Garage: Echoes of the Abyss

The underground garage of Xinghuan Residential Complex conceals a secret unknown to most. A yellowed sheet of “parking rules” has become a lifeline for everyone who enters. New resident Lin Mo initially scoffs at the rules, until he watches a neighbor vanish into thin air after parking in the red No. 0 spot. Only then does he realize this is no prank.

As Lin Mo investigates the rules, he discovers that the garage is far more than it seems. Eyes lurk in areas lit by a dark red glow, and “fake attendants” in blue uniforms use gentle voices to lure people toward the abyss. The existence of Level -2 defies all expectations: its rules are the exact opposite of those above, and red is a sign of safety.

More unsettling still, the rules are not fixed. They crawl across the walls in blood-red letters, evolving in response to people’s fear and even recreating the complex’s dark history. This place was once a prison during the Republic of China era, and a bizarre mass death gave rise to “It,” an unknown entity that uses rules as shackles and feeds on those who break them.

When retired police officer Old Zhou is “assimilated” into a fake attendant, and the paintings of a mysterious girl named Xiao Ya keep predicting new rules, Lin Mo is forced to join the “Rule Hunters” and venture into the never-before-opened Level -3. There, the original rules carved into a stone stele reveal the truth: obeying feeds It, while breaking the rules gets you devoured. The key to solving the mystery lies in the warden’s long-sealed diary.

With “It” closing in at every turn, Lin Mo must choose between preserving his humanity and surviving: should he destroy the rules completely and unleash the abyss, or change them and strike a fragile balance with “It”?
