"Wang Yue Town" tells the story of ordinary young Lin Mo's adventures in the world. Lin Mo, an orphan who makes a living by fetching firewood in Wangyue Town, accidentally gets involved in the dispute between the Qingcheng Sect and the Black Wind Sect over the secret book "The Zhuyue Heart Sutra" left by the peerless master "Zhuyue Jushi" a hundred years ago.
In order to protect the secret clues, Ling Yun, a disciple of the Qingcheng Sect, hid half of the key jade pendant in Lin Mo's firewood load. The half of the jade pendant left by Lin Mo's mother happened to fit together with it, making him a key figure in unlocking the secret of the Sutra Cave. In the ruined temple in Zhenxi, when the two factions are fighting fiercely, Su Ningshuang, the descendant of the Snow Lotus Sect in the Western Regions, appears. She bears the blood feud of her master being massacred by the Black Wind Sect, and joins forces with Ling Yun and Lin Mo to fight against the enemy.
As the two jade pendants were put together, the true face of the "Chasing the Moon Heart Sutra" appeared on the stone wall, and Lin Mo's life trajectory completely changed. From a young man who just wanted to live a stable life, he was forced to embark on the path of guarding secret books and getting involved in grievances in the world. Together with Su Ningshuang and others, he faced the Black Wind Sect's pressing steps, and explored the truth and growth in the crisis-ridden world.
