A 14-Year Age Gap, and My “Little Brother” Is Engaged

They may not be related by blood, but she’s watched this kid grow up ever since he was little. So why has this boy, fourteen years her junior, suddenly proposed to her?

She’s only just managed to move on from her last relationship. The last thing she wants is to fall into the trap of love again.

What? Now the guy she used to have a thing with is suddenly showering her with attention?

What is even going on?

“Since you don’t like him either, and I need to steer clear of my ex, why don’t we just get together?” His handsome, youthful face slowly drew closer.

“Get out of here! I was already crushing on other boys when you were running around with your bare bottom out. Don’t get fresh with me, you little brat!”

“I used to think I’d never fall in love again, but for some reason, I just can’t forget what we had!” her former almost-boyfriend said earnestly.

“I think you’ve had too much to drink. Have some more. Once you’re asleep, you can dream about whatever you want!”

This is a gentle, slow-paced modern romance about young people’s uncertainties in love, wounds from their families of origin, and ups and downs in their careers. Perhaps you’ll recognize a little of your own life in the characters.

Whatever you’re going through right now, keep hope in your heart and a light in your eyes. Life won’t let down anyone who keeps striving to shine!

Wishing you and me peace and happiness~
