[Beast World + 1VN + All the characters are villains + Redemption + Slacker heroine]
Xu Xiaoshuang was just collecting crops in her farming game when she transmigrated, and even transmigrated into a book in her own body!
She had landed in a book she’d read,
in a beastfolk world among the stars, filled with pollution and danger. She was short and had no advantages, and was judged to be a useless young female. The Alliance forcibly matched her with an adoptive family.
Her guardian was a refined, restrained, gentle black wolf with a huge build. Her gloomy, obsessive adopted brother had a sickly beauty and flicked his forked tongue. Her mutated little sister always chased after her, calling her “Mom,” looking obedient while secretly baring her fangs... It seemed she didn’t fit in with this family at all.
Fortunately, her farming game had come along too. She could grow crops, take care of herself, and work toward becoming independent and leaving this family so she wouldn’t be a burden to everyone. Then she could laze around to her heart’s content...
But life in the apocalypse was too hard. She decided to fake her death and live as a slacker, only to be discovered by a giant monster before she’d been hiding for long. She had no choice but to flee in a panic and open a canteen in the beastfolk borderlands. But how did she go from running a canteen to becoming a big shot?
Goldfinger is quite good, but there are too many misunderstandings. The heroine does so many things that no one knows about and is being suppressed all the time. It is not a purely enjoyable novel, but a bit frustrating.
