The Solomon's Seal Calamity: Records of Ninefold-Injustice

The Nine-Turn Injustice: A Record of Wrongful Conviction

Disguised as a tale of revenge through traditional Chinese medicine, this male-oriented power fantasy is packed with political intrigue, military conflict, and patriotic fervor. Polygonatum is the weapon, medical skill the armor, and the border fortress the battlefield.

The story follows Lin Yan as he clears his father's name, unraveling a conspiracy and journey toward redemption that spans ten years. From the "Ghost-Face Cough" in Shiya Village to the renewed plague in the capital, Polygonatum steamed and dried nine times is both a life-saving remedy and the key to uncovering the truth. Ten years ago, his father, Lin Qingyuan, was accused of "letting the country down through quackery," but the injustice was actually the result of someone switching the medicinal ingredients and framing him.

Burdened by vengeance and suspicion, Lin Yan uses Polygonatum soup to purge the plague, and his resolve to expose the dark secrets of the Imperial Medical Bureau. Zhou Xianzong and Wu Yongnian switched the medicinal ingredients, poisoned people to frame others, and even colluded with the Northern Di to smuggle weapons. From the perilous testing of medicine in the infirmary, to enduring torture in the imperial prison, to life-and-death struggles at the border in Yunzhou, he advances step by step, ultimately clearing his father's name with irrefutable evidence and bringing the guilty to justice.

Polygonatum is steamed and dried nine times, impurities removed and essence preserved; after nine turns, the injustice is finally overturned, and good and evil are made clear. As Lin Yan stands on the bloodstained fortress wall, the sweet bitterness of Polygonatum in his arms mingles with the cold gleam of the sword in his hand. He carries on his father's benevolent medical spirit, while also looking ahead to the long road of protecting others. The path to restoring integrity to medicine is long, but guided by compassion and armed with the truth, he will make the fragrance of medicine pierce the gloom and safeguard the people.
