Secrets and truths hidden behind the scenes…
A thousand years ago, a pawnshop opened on Yong’an Road. Its owner was a handsome, long-haired man, with a little cat always at his side…
A thousand years later, the pawnshop still welcomes customers. Whenever someone brings him a difficult problem, he helps resolve it, though the price is rather steep…
Beside the pawnshop is a store called Yiqin Tower. Its owner appraises and pawns treasures, and will take on anything to do with antiques. Shen Ji is a young antiques appraiser, but hidden within all this is a secret from a thousand years ago…
Shen Ji: “Your long hair is beautiful. Can I touch it?”
…
“What are you doing? You’ve searched for that thing for a thousand years, and now you’re just giving it to him!”
“Some things are no use worrying over forever. We might as well let them serve a purpose!”
