The Movie Star’s Very Own Tea Sprite

When Qింగ్ Ming, a tea spirit who has lived for a thousand years, takes the form of a girl in plain clothes and joins the healing slow-living variety show A Slow Life Among Mountains and Rivers, all she wants is a peaceful place where she can keep tea company. Little does she know that her skill at making even coarse tea bloom with spiritual charm with nothing more than “a casual brew” will unexpectedly catch the eye of Lu Chenyuan, the aloof Best Actor who has never been interested in variety shows.

On camera, he is the “God of Silence,” adored by millions and radiating distance. Off camera, he keeps finding himself lingering by her tea table. The tea, fragrant with morning dew and able to wash away fatigue; the smile in her eyes, gentler than sunlight as she tends the tea plants; the soul that knows little of human relationships yet understands tea’s fragrance perfectly... Bit by bit, they chip away at his frozen defenses.

“This tea...” Lu Chenyuan gazed at the amber liquid swirling in his cup. For the first time on camera, he looked genuinely stunned. “Why is it different from every tea I’ve ever tasted?”

Qing Ming cradled an old-fashioned tea tin, her clear eyes curving into a smile. “Maybe the tea leaves... are in a good mood today.”

The tea’s fragrance curled through the air, weaving an invisible net. As the top-tier star’s gaze kept following the girl in plain clothes beside the tea table, and the magic behind her “casual brews” concealed a secret, this heart-stirring encounter sparked by the scent of tea was bound to send ripples through the mountains and rivers. What had he fallen in love with: the soothing tea, or the “spirit” who carried its fragrance? In this healing slow-living show, a tender bond of tea, love, and a thousand years is quietly beginning.
