The Mad Crown Prince Claims Me, but I'm Just as Crazy

[Historical romance + love at first sight + one-on-one romance + sweet and doting + devoted couple]

[Contains a small amount of coercive romance, used as flirtation between the couple]

Su Wanqing, daughter of the Minister of War, has done only one outrageous thing in her life:

After being drugged in a plot against her, she accidentally climbed into the bed of Crown Prince Xiao Jinci.

But no one knows that for years she has secretly loved this aloof prince, as cold and bright as the moon, who keeps his distance from women.

Everyone in the capital knows that Crown Prince Xiao Jinci is the future sage ruler, devoted solely to the realm, without sorrow or joy, love or desire.

Su Wanqing can only bury her feelings deep in her heart and play the part of a dutiful, well-mannered minister's daughter.

At court, he personally asked the emperor to issue an edict betrothing them.

She knelt and bowed, neither servile nor arrogant. “I know my blessings are meager, and fear I am not a worthy match for Your Highness. I hope you will find another virtuous bride.”

On the throne, the prince, who had remained impassive throughout, slowly crushed the jade cup in his hand.

After everything they'd done, she still didn't want to marry him?

Then he would take her by force.

On the day she was to marry the Northern Guardian General, he led a heavily armed force into the general's residence, abducted her, and locked her away in the Eastern Palace.

“A-Qing, you've been naughty.”

“If I lock A-Qing up in chains, she'll behave and stay by my side, unable to go anywhere.”

Su Wanqing's eyes reddened with anger. Crying, she cursed, “Xiao Jinci, you bastard!”

“Mm, I'm a bastard. So, A-Qing, do you like me?”

“I don't.”

“Then I'll keep you locked up.”

Until the day of the imperial hunt, when an arrow split the air, aimed straight at Su Wanqing.

“A-Qing!”

Xiao Jinci used his body to take the fatal arrow for her.

Su Wanqing wept uncontrollably, keeping watch by his bedside.

“A-Ci, I like you. Please wake up...”

“...Little liar.”
