[Original characters and story, written in a Japanese light-novel style. There’s lots of everyday life early on, with a little Japanese and English. Enter at your own risk if that’s not your thing.]
[The everyday-life battles are fairly lighthearted. Most of the main-story battles involve one of three things: logical deduction, scientific knowledge, or using Stands.]
[Illustrations for the novel can be found in the author’s notes at the end. There’s one in every chapter.]
The Japanese-American character, originally named Joey Jones, is called Jorito Shiroi. After a family upheaval, he moves with his mother, who has returned to Japan, to Antocho in Yanagawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
In this unremarkable little town, Jorito’s arrival at high school marks the beginning of the Stand Users’ actions, driven by some mysterious force.
Good book, good luck to the author
