Laid-back office drone Lu Li unexpectedly inherits an ancestral home, only to discover it's inhabited by a group of mythical creatures from countless worlds. He becomes unwillingly bound to the “Myriad Worlds Adaptation System,” whose mission is to help these “nonhuman” tenants adjust to modern life on Earth and deal with their bizarre problems. As he solves one tricky problem after another, collects rent, and accidentally shows off, Lu Li goes from an ordinary man who only wants to get rid of the hassle to the true “landlord” and “rule-maker” behind the myriad worlds.
