Unlimited Food, Come and Try to Defeat Me!

Fifteen-year-old high school student Chen Yu wakes up as the young prefect of Qingzhou during a famine in the Song dynasty. Corpses litter the roads outside the city, and the granaries within are empty. In this desperate situation, he is bound to the [Infinite Food System], which provides only rice and pork, beef, mutton, and duck, without asking where they come from.

Chen Yu opens the granaries and pours out the food. White rice piles up like mountains, and meat flows like rivers. Refugees kneel and cry out, “Lord of Grain,” while Deputy Prefect Zhao Wenyuan denounces him: “Demonic sorcery is deceiving the people!”

With his endless granaries, Chen Yu builds a rigid feudal fortress:

Food is power: People kneel until their knees are bloody before the soup kitchens, while neighboring counties resort to exchanging children for food;

Wives and concubines kneel: Liu Ruolan takes an arrow for him and, on the brink of death, murmurs, “My lord,” while a foreign princess kneels to kiss the dust from his boots;

Nations become slaves: Liao envoys go hungry for three days while trading horses, their bellies hollow, and the pope kneels to beg for a “Monument to the Cross and Grain”;

The villains are as sharp as blades: A wily political foe cuts off his supply routes and seizes the salt and iron trade, outmaneuvering the young man at every turn. Only the ceaseless supply of food can break the deadlock.
