Chan Theory: The Trend's Perfect Finale

When fate's candlestick chart twists in the darkness, an orphan forgotten by the world kindles the flames of a theory entwining human nature and money to the sound of keys tapping.

Lin Shen curls up in a damp rented room, where the red and green lines dancing across his screen flick like a serpent's tongue, licking at his life. He spent ten years measuring the market's pulse, only to be claimed by death before the applause had even faded. He believes in no gods, only price movements; he relies on no predictions, only structure. From a single fractal to an entire philosophy, he derives on his sickbed a set of trading principles that transcend time and space. But when he stands at the summit and looks back, he realizes the road beneath his feet is paved with burning souls.

This is the story of one person fighting chaos, and a desperate gamble in which reason is bought with life. Lin Shen feeds data with his youth and builds models with his health, until at last he becomes part of the theory itself. He predicted a global stock market crash and unraveled the schemes of market manipulators, yet he could never overturn his own fate.

When humanity finally understands that “every trend reaches its perfect conclusion,” does that also mean we have already lost our reverence for the unknown?
