In April 2025, the parallel world was torn apart by an unprecedented global catastrophe. Skyscrapers collapsed like sand castles, cities turned into ruins, billions of lives were wiped out in an instant, leaving only dead silence and broken walls. The foundation of civilization was shaken.
Before the disaster is over, a deeper darkness descends: a deadly biochemical virus secretly developed by some countries is leaked out of control in the chaos. Deadly spores and poisonous mist spread like ghosts, turning ruins into death graveyards and pushing survivors into the abyss of mutation. Plague and ruins are intertwined, and the end is coming.
Shijiazhuang, North China Plain. A college campus has been reduced to a disaster. Deep in the wreckage of the dormitory building, four ordinary college students miraculously survived and became each other's only support. They struggled out of the rubble and saw hell in front of them: their homes were broken, order collapsed, the virus spread, and human nature was twisted in desperate circumstances.
Survival is a cruel race against death. Food, water, and safety are all luxuries.
But surviving is not the end. Witnessing endless suffering, a sense of mission beyond survival is imprinted on the soul. What they hold may be more than just their personal lives. When the fire of civilization is about to extinguish, this group of young people who were ordinary yesterday are pushed to the forefront.
The mission is heavy and clear: we must survive in the ruins of hell, and we must do our best to save more lives that are dying under the double attack. They are struggling survivors, glimmers of light in the darkness, and the last hope in despair. The journey begins on this broken campus and enters a cruel new world where the unknown, fear and meager hope are intertwined.
